Blind Low Vision weights and exercise - The Whole Person and The Hill

Thursday, June 9, 2022
12:00 pm1:00 pm
2540 West Pennway Street Kansas City, MO 64108

The Whole Person is working out at The Hill Tuesdays and Thursdays 12:00-1:00pm!
Free for the first 90 days. Athletes come twice a week to fulfill grant funding for participation and then are able to fill out a needs-based application for long-term membership.

The Adaptive Athletes In Motion program would like to invite all visually impaired individuals to participate in inclusive fitness. (ALL adaptive athletes are welcome during these sessions). Exercise classes will showcase the importance of exercise routines in our daily lives and how those routines can improve the quality of our lifestyles and overall health. These exercises highlight the ability for participants to maintain at-home exercise routines with limited or no equipment issues.

Please join us as we celebrate the ability of our bodies in a safe and inclusive environment. Volunteers are also needed so contact
Josh Snyder at The Hill for any exercise information and how to sign up josh@thehillkc.com.

Contact Sheila Styron at The Whole Person to hear first hand what it is like to work out there for blind and LV athletes.
