For ages 13-50, Challenger Basketball gives athletes with special needs an opportunity to learn the game, be active and be part of a team. Athletes are assigned to teams by age and ability and are coached by volunteers. Teams are separated into age groups for two practice and four game sessions. Activities may be adapted as needed to fit each athlete's abilities. Participants learn the fundamentals of basketball through drills and during games.
