Young Adults Adventure Squad

Are you a young adult between the ages of 18-29 looking for social activities and friends to hang out with? This group is for you! We meet on Wednesday afternoons to explore local Kansas City locations and have fun.

Y.A.A.S. is a community experience program for young adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders. The focus of this program is to help young adults become more independent and active members of their communities by learning how to plan and participate in various social outings with their peers.

*Advance registration and payment are required. Monthly registration information is sent out by email. Please read the details for each event. Departure times may vary.

*Participants must be able to independently participate with minimal support/supervision and without disruptive or aggressive behavior. (Additional support must be provided by parents if needed).

*Transportation is provided for the participant from Autism Works to the event location.

*Costs: $30 – $45 per event. Locations vary weekly.
