Mission

The mission of Camp Encourage is to provide youth with autism spectrum disorder meaningful experiences in which they build the knowledge, courage, and skills to be empowered participants in the community.

Information about our programs

Our camps take place at Tall Oaks Conference Center in Linwood, KS. Each camp session includes both traditional camp activities and activities tailored around the individual campers’ interests. Our Connections program offers day excursions in the Kansas City area that are well-designed and structured social opportunities tailored to support our campers with ASD.

Camp Encourage Overnight Camp Session - October 16-17
Arrival: Saturday, 9:30am; Departure: Sunday, 3:00pm.

Camp Encourage offers a quality overnight camp involving relationship development, recreation, and relaxation and is specifically designed to meet the needs of children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. If a waiting list exists, we urge families to apply as cancellations may occur.

Fees $560; However, roughly 70% of families request and are given scholarship support. It is encouraged to apply for scholarship support. Scholarships are available and when applying to attend, a scholarship application can be submitted and is encouraged.
