Autism Works

Autism Works Inc is a non-profit organization where dedicated parents, volunteers and staff come together to bring support and programs to families whose lives are affected by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).

Autism Works was founded in 2010 by a group of parents who realized there was a lack of support and programs available in the Northland and surrounding communities. With the help of founder Jamie Krisman, they decided to make a difference and created Autism Works. Our organization works closely with families and the local community to increase autism awareness and develop programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

We have a range of programs and activities for those on the spectrum and those that care for them.

Writing Post-Secondary Goals for Students with ASD

Presented by MPACT

Young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders face unique challenges in transition to adulthood. This training addresses the development of Post-Secondary goals that address common concerns among students with ASD – communication, social skills, self-regulation and sensory concerns – as well as Transition Assessment and measuring progress.
